Akinwunmi Ambode visited the scene of the fire incident that occurred in the Iyana Ipaja area of Lagos this morning in which properties worth millions of Naira were destroyed. Ambode said the fire was caused by a 33, 000 liter petrol tanker that fell off the Ipaja bridge and spilled its content across five streets in the area. The Commissioner of Police in the State, Aderemi Opadokun , stated this when he spoke with journalists in Maiduguri. Mr. Opadokun said the attack occurred at about 11.30 a.m.“A suicide bomber, who was shouting “Sai Buhari”, and dancing in the abattoir, detonated Improvised Explosive Device strapped on his bodywhen people had gathered around him.
